ABNORMAL PSYCHOLOGY
Book Review- PSY-B 380
This project is from my Abnormal Psychology class, where I wrote a book review on Willow Weep for Me. The book focuses on mental health in the Black community and shares personal experiences that are not always talked about. This project shows how I can reflect on mental health topics and connect them to real-life experiences.
What I learned
This assignment helped me better understand different mental health issues and how they affect people in different ways. While reading the book, I was able to connect to the experiences and think more deeply about mental health in the Black community. This part of my minor class was really eye-opening and taught me a lot about the different mental health challenges people go through. It made me think about how I want to use this knowledge one day as a healthcare leader to better support others.
