My goal is to build a career as a healthcare leader, with a long-term goal of becoming a health administrator. I am especially interested in working in long-term care or assisted living.After my internship, I developed an interest in social work. I had the opportunity to shadow the social services director, which made me interested in working in a social work role within a long-term care facility. Because of that, I see myself starting out in roles like a coordinator to gain experience and explore what fits me best.After graduation, I plan to complete an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program. I recently had an interview for an opportunity, and if selected, I plan to begin that path. If not, I plan to continue working as a coordinator and pursue my AIT soon after.
