This project is from my Strategic Planning in Health Organizations class, where I created a strategic plan for Community Hospital East. I focused on looking at the hospital’s strengths, challenges, and the community it serves. This project shows how I can apply planning and decision-making skills in a healthcare setting.
What I learned
This assignment helped me understand how strategic planning works in healthcare and how hospitals look at their strengths, challenges, and the community they serve when making decisions. It also helped me improve my planning and critical thinking skills. I learned how important it is to think ahead and make decisions that can improve patient care and outcomes, and I feel like this will help me in my future career.
