This project is from my Health Finance and Budgeting class, where I worked with hospital financial statements. I looked at revenue, expenses, and net assets to understand how healthcare organizations manage money.
What I learned
This assignment helped me understand how financial statements work in healthcare and how hospitals track their revenue and expenses. I learned how to read and break down financial information to see how an organization is performing.It also helped me improve my analytical and critical thinking skills. I learned how important budgeting and financial planning are in healthcare, especially when it comes to making decisions and managing resources. I feel like this will help me in my future career.
